This 2-ingredient frozen pie dessert is super easy to make and the kids are gonna love it this summer! Real vanilla ice cream loaded with chunks of buttery cookie dough and semisweet chocolate chips in a pie! Irresistible!!
Ice Cream pie is the perfect no bake dessert! You can prepare it in less than 15 minutes and as soon as it’s frozen, you can devour!
Seriously, All you need is an Oreo Pie Crust and your favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice cream!
The Oreo crust with the cookie dough ice cream is the best, so basically you can make this with 2 ingredients! Extra add-ins welcome!
I used Schwann’s ice cream for this pie and a pre-made Oreo crust.
But there are lots of cookie dough versions out there, like Ben & Jerry’s, Dairy Queen, Nestle, Chips Ahoy, Haagen-Das and whatever your grocery store has in stock!
Ice Cream Pie Ingredients
- 1/2 gallon of your favorite cookie dough ice cream.
- A graham cracker or a chocolate cookie crust already premade from the grocery store. If you want to make your own graham cracker crust or Oreo crust you can follow these recipes.

- Plus you can freeze cookie dough balls and eat them on a whim when you’re craving cookie dough!

How to Make Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream
- Soften ice cream for about 10-15 minutes, then place all of the ice cream in the crust by smoothing it out on the top.
- Add any garnishes you wish like whipped cream, edible cookie dough balls, etc.
- Place pie in freezer covered with foil, plastic wrap or use the liner from the pie shell to firm up!
- Freeze for several hours or overnight.
- Before serving, allow frozen pie to sit at room temperature for a few minutes for easier slicing.
- Top with any additional toppings and serve.
