How to Make the Best Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

    1. If using vanilla beans, slice the pod in half lengthwise with a paring knife and scrape the seeds out using the dull edge of the knife. Add the vanilla bean seeds or vanilla extract and the sweetened condensed milk in a small bowl and stir to combine.  Set aside.
    2. Line a 9x5 loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
    3. Using a mixer, whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form for about three minutes,
    4. Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla bean paste or vanilla beans using a rubber scraper until well combined.
    5. Pour into the prepared pan, cover with plastic wrap and freeze at least 6 hours or overnight.
    6. Then, once it has frozen, just grab your ice cream scoop and dig in! You can serve this ice cream in so many ways!

    Ice Cream Tips

    • By using vanilla bean paste or vanilla beans instead of vanilla extract will add an extra flavor of depth and you get those tiny vanilla bean specs in your ice cream.
    • Make sure the whipping cream is really cold before starting for this no churn ice cream recipe.
    • Let the ice cream sit on the counter at room temperature for a few minutes so it's easy to scoop, if needed.
