Easy Crushed Pineapple Fluff Dessert recipe

Who says dessert has to be complicated?  This light and fluffy pineapple concoction is bursting with tangy sweetness and is topped with crumbled graham crackers and dollops of whipped cream. It’s not only ridiculously delicious, but also ridiculously easy to make.

In fact, it requires simple ingredients and no baking whatsoever. It’s a classic, crowd-pleasing treat that will have you coming back for seconds (and thirds). But don’t take my word for it – give this a taste when you’re wanting fluffy pineapple yumminess!

With a few simple ingredients and minimal effort, this no-bake treat is perfect for satisfying those cravings and impressing your taste buds and also a perfect side dish and definitely a fun dessert comfort food!

This is an absolutely delightful pineapple fluff dessert recipe you’ll want to whip up for all kinds of occasions!  Even Sponge Bob would be all over this creamy pineapple treat!  

Easy Crushed Pineapple Fluff Dessert recipe

Ingredients for Easy Pineapple Fluff Recipe 

Graham Cracker Crust

  • 2 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled

Pineapple Fluff Salad Layers

  • 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drain juice well 
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz tub Cool Whip or 1 cup of whipping cream whipped together to make 2 cups of whipped topping

toppings

  • ¼ cup graham cracker mixture from above for sprinkling
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions for Pineapple Fluff Dessert

Graham Cracker Crust

  1. Prepare your graham cracker crust by combining the graham cracker crumbs and cooled, melted butter in a medium sized bowl and mix well.
  2. Measure out ¼ cup of the graham cracker crumbs for the top, set aside.  Firmly press the remaining of the graham cracker crumb mixture into an 8-inch square pan and place in refrigerator or freezer to chill while you prepare the Pineapple Fluff Layers.  

1st Layer

  1. Using a mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter together in a large mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  2. On low speed, add the powdered sugar one cup at a time until fully combined.
  3. Once it’s all combined, mix on medium-high for another minute.
  4. Stir in 1/4 cup of the drained pineapple and spoon and spread the pineapple/cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust evenly.

2nd Layer

  1. Fold in the remaining pineapple into the whipped cream and spoon and spread on top of the cream cheese layer.

Toppings

  1. Sprinkle the ¼ reserved cup of graham cracker crumb mixture on top of the whipped cream layer and if you want to add some chopped nuts, you can also sprinkle those on top as well.
  2. Refrigerate & chill for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

  • Pineapple fluff tastes best when you eat it immediately. However, you can keep leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to two days.

More Variations

  • Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker crumb mixture on top whipped cream pineapple mixture. Add chopped pecans, walnuts if desired
