    Heavenly Strawberry Pretzel Dessert
    Heavenly Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

This no-bake Heavenly Strawberry Pretzel Dessert begins sweet and salty pretzel crust on the bottom, then a luscious layer of cream cheese fluff and last but not least, topped with strawberry jello loaded with strawberries!  3 easy layers of YUM!

This is such an awesome and sublime layered no bake dessert perfect for summer or when strawberries are in peak season!

    Heavenly Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

Have you ever tasted Strawberry Pretzel Dessert? If you haven't, just try it, you'll be amazed how light, fluffy, fruity, tart, sweet and salty it is in every bite! (Now that's a mouthful!)

It's a no-bake dessert, (well, partial no-bake, because you have to bake the pretzel crust for a few minutes).  But the cheesecake fluff and the strawberry Jello with the strawberries mix are a breeze to make.

Hands down, this strawberry cream cheese pretzel dessert is one of the best desserts for spring and summer. Along with this Reese's Peanut Butter Pretzel Pie and this Strawberry-Raspberry Jell-O Whipped Cheesecake Layered Salad!

    Heavenly Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

    Ingredients You Need

    Pretzel Crust

    • pretzels - Use small, salted pretzels (either sticks or traditional pretzel twists).  Smaller pretzels are easier to crush and measure.
    • granulated sugar or organic sugar
    • butter

    Cheesecake Fluff

    • granulated or organic sugar
    • light or regular cream cheese
    • container frozen whipped topping thawed or whipping cream, whipped

    Strawberry Jell-o Topping

    • strawberry gelatin
    • boiling water
    • fresh or frozen strawberries, sliced

How to Make Heavenly Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

    • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Pretzel Crust  (pretzels, sugar and butter)

    • Mix together the crushed pretzels, 4 ½ tablespoons sugar and melted butter.
    • Press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
    • Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly toasted.
    • Set aside to cool completely.

Cheesecake Fluff (cream cheese, whipped cream, sugar)

    • In a medium bowl, beat the sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
    • Fold in whipped topping.
    • Spread evenly over the cooled crust.
    • Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.

Strawberry Jello Topping (frozen strawberries, strawberry jello, water)

    • In a medium bowl, stir together the gelatin mix and boiling water.
    • Mix in fresh or frozen strawberries, and if using frozen, stir until strawberries are thawed.  Let mixture cool down some.
    • Pour over cream cheese mixture in pan.
    • Refrigerate until completely chilled, at least 1 hour.

    Tips for Strawberry Pretzel Salad

    • When dissolving the jello, make it according to recipe instructions, not the jello instructions.
    • Use softened cream cheese so you don't get lumps and the fluff is smooth.
    • Spread cream portion snug to the edges for a tight seal before adding the jello.
    • Pour cooled down jello gently over the top to prevent cracks in the cream cheese layer.

This easy strawberry pretzel dessert recipe is also called Strawberry Pretzel Salad! Do you consider this a salad? 🙂

Whatever you call it, it's a great classic strawberry dessert to take to any potluck or after dinner!  Simply scrumptious, you'll want seconds!
