    Easy Peach Cake Cobbler

This old-fashioned Easy Peach Cake Cobbler recipe is totally scrumptious with fresh, canned or frozen peaches! Because this is made from scratch, you'll have all the staple ingredients in your kitchen for this cobbler, so you're already ahead of the game for making this!  You'll love it even better that it's easy to make.  Hurrah!

Of course, if you're using fresh peaches, it will require just a little more time to peel and slice the peaches, but totally worth it.

Using juicy, fresh peaches are the best bet, especially when they are in season!

We can't get over how yummy this cobbler is!  Sweet, juicy peaches baked in a soft, buttery cake cobbler topping with a touch of cinnamon is gonna make you swoon away guys!

Cobbler is always best served after it sets for about 20 minutes and still warm right out of the oven or reheated in the microwave for 20 seconds-30 seconds and voila!  Ready for spoonfuls for sure!  YUM! By letting it set, the cobbler thickens up so it's not as juicy.

Of course, peach cobbler is wonderful alone!  But with the addition of some whipped cream, your favorite ice cream or serve with some milk or cream, it really takes it over the top!  I'm tellin' ya...this is the epitome of summer desserts and family favorites!

I prefer mine with a huge scoop of vanilla bean ice cream melting on top of mine, please!

    Ingredients You Need

    Peach Layer

    • 6-8 peaches
    • granulated sugar
    • salt

    Cake Cobbler Layer

    • unsalted butter
    • all-purpose flour
    • granulated sugar
    • baking powder
    •  salt
    • milk of choice, I used unsweetened almond milk, buttermilk also a good option
    • ground cinnamon

How to Make Easy Peach Cobbler

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Add the sliced peaches, sugar and salt to a large microwaveable bowl. Mix and microwave for about 2 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Also can cook on stovetop in saucepan over medium heat for a few minutes as well. Set aside.
    3. Melt butter and add to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
    4. In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in the milk, and stir until just combined. Pour cobbler batter over the melted butter and spread out.
    5. Spoon the peaches and juice over the batter.
    6. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top of the batter.
    7. Bake 40-50 minutes. Serve warm, it's delicious!

    Fresh Peach Substitution

    • To substitute canned peaches, use a 2 - 29 oz cans (larger) or 3 15- oz (smaller) cans of peaches, undrained and omit the sugar and salt above in the peach layer ingredients.
    • You can always substitute any fresh fruit you want to replace it with.
