So, meet my newest brownie obsession! Nutella brownie cravings are always on my radar! But it’s been awhile since I’ve posted a brownie recipe since these Triple Chocolate Malted Whoppers Brownies back in April.

Nutella & Coconut Cheesecake Fudgy Brownies

So, brownies on the blog are wayyyy overdue!  Not saying, I haven’t had brownies in the mean-time!  That would be heart-breaking in my book!

Now for you peeps that don’t like coconut, leave it out.  But for the rest of the cast of characters, you can’t go wrong with Nutella and cheesecake in fudgy brownies, now can ya?

Nutella & Coconut Cheesecake Fudgy Brownies

Nutella is in the Brownies AND in the Cheesecake!

Ummmseriously, WE can’t ever have enough of that, ever!  I eat Nutella by the spoonfuls because it’s so freaking addictive!  Nutella lovers, you know what I am talking about!

So, use your favorite brownie mix or you could make these Perfect Brownies instead.  The rest is pretty easy to put together.  Doesn’t it look yummy with all those Nutella swirls drenched in that cheesecake?

Nutella & Coconut Cheesecake Fudgy Brownies

How to make Nutella & Coconut Cheesecake Brownies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Grease or spray, or line with foil or parchment paper a 9×13 baking dish.

Cheesecake Layer

  • In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Set aside.

Fudgy Nutella Coconut Brownie Layer

  • Prepare brownies as directed, then add in shredded coconut.
  • Pour and spread into prepared pan and add some dollops of nutella on top of brownies.
  • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the top of the brownies and spread evenly.

Nutella Swirl

  • Drizzle the Nutella over the top of the cheesecake.
  • Using a sharp knife, swirl the Nutella around into the cheesecake.
  • Bake for about 40-50 minutes or until the brownies are cooked and the cheesecake has set.
    Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Ingredients
  

Using a 9x9 pan

    Fudgy Nutella Coconut Brownie Layer

    • Perfect Brownies (copy of link in notes at end) of recipe
    • or
    • 1 Box Fudgy Brownie Mix + ingredients on box
    • ¼ to ½ cup shredded coconut
    • ¼ to ½ cup Nutella slightly melted

    Cheese Cake Layer

    • 2 8 oz cream cheese softened
    • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
    • 2 eggs
    • ½ cup sugar
    • ½ cup Nutella slightly melted

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    • Grease or spray, or line with foil or parchment paper a 9×13 baking dish.

    Cheesecake Layer

    • In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Set aside.

    Fudgy Nutella Coconut Brownie Layer

    • Prepare brownies as directed, then add in shredded coconut.
    • Pour and spread into prepared pan and add some dollops of nutella on top of brownies.
    • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the top of the brownies and spread evenly.
    • Stick the 1/2 cup Nutella in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl and heat for about 15 seconds.

    NUTELLA SWIRL

    • Drizzle the Nutella over the top of the cheesecake.
    • Using a sharp knife, swirl the Nutella around into the cheesecake.
    • Bake for about 40-50 minutes or until the brownies are cooked and the cheesecake has set.
    • Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

    1. Love this recipe even though I do omit the coconut. My only comment is that a 9×9 pan is WAY too small and will overflow into the oven. The correct size is an 9×13 baking dish!
