I don’t know what it is, but cream cheese and strawberries together is like a match made in heaven! It’s one of the best combinations ever! This cinnamon streusel topped coffee cake is perfectly flavored and the cream cheese adds the creamiest, tastiest texture! It goes so well with sweet and tart strawberries!

Ingredients You Need
Strawberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake Recipe
Sugar-Cinnamon Streusel
- all purpose flour
- granulated sugar
- ground cinnamon
- unsalted butter
Cream Cheese Layer
- cream cheese
- granulated sugar
- egg
- vanilla extract
- optional: grated lemon zest
- all purpose flour
Vanilla Butter Cake
- all purpose flour
- baking powder
- salt
- unsalted butter
- granulated sugar
- egg
- vanilla extract
- almond milk or milk of choice
- fresh strawberries, sliced, or any type of strawberry filling or strawberry jam could also be used if you don’t have fresh strawberries

Instructions How to Make Strawberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake Recipe
- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8 or 9-inch springform pan with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
Sugar-Cinnamon Streusel
- Whisk or stir together the flour, sugar and ground cinnamon in a medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs and set aside.

- Using mixer, beat cream cheese until creamy and smooth. Add sugar, egg, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and flour and continue beating until very smooth and set aside.
Vanilla Butter Cake
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt and set aside.
- Using mixer, cream butter, then add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla extract and continue beating until well incorporated.
- Add flour mixture, alternately with milk, and mix until just combined.
Putting it all together for the strawberry coffee cake
- Spread cake batter onto bottom and slightly up sides of pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture over cake batter.
- Sprinkle randomly with strawberries and then sprinkle with streusel crumb topping.

- 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
