    This Chocolate & Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge is totally irresistible with gooey salted pecan caramel in between fudge and a sea salted chocolate layer on top.  Heart be still! 

    Microwaveable fudge, so it's easy and the perfect sweet treat if you love fudge that is sinfully rich and delicious!  

    Salted Chocolate & Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge

    Are you one of those people who crave sweet and salty?  Like it's the best thing since chocolate covered potato chips, a Peanut Buster Parfait from the Dairy Queen or maybe dunking Wendy's French Fries into your Wendy's Frosty?  OMG!  It's one of the best cravings ever!

    I am S&S (sweet & salty) for sure! *Ssshhh, now that's between you and me!*  Funny how S&S sounds kind of naughty! 😉

    So, are you ready to be wowed with some delicious Salted Chocolate & Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge?  Cuz, this rich, S&S turtle fudge is definitely gonna give you some 'wow' action. Good God Gertie!

    Salted Chocolate & Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge

    Ingredients for the Turtle Fudge

    Fudge Layer

    • butter
    • unsweetened cocoa powder
    • brown sugar
    • milk
    • confectioners' sugar
    • vanilla extract

    Salted Pecan Caramel Layer

    • caramels
    • water
    • pecans
    • sea salt

    Salted Chocolate Layer

    • semisweet chocolate chips
    • milk chocolate chips
    • sea salt

    How to Make Salted Chocolate & Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge

    • Spray an 8" baking pan with non-stick spray and set aside.

    Fudge Layer

    • In a microwave-safe bowl, add the butter, cocoa powder, brown sugar and milk and microwave on high until mixture boils, for approximately 2 minutes.
    • Add in confectioners' sugar and vanilla and stir until combined and pour into baking pan and spread out evenly. Place in fridge until set enough to add salted pecan caramel layer.

    Salted Pecan Caramel Layer

    • In another microwave-safe bowl, heat caramels and water on high for 1-¼ minutes or until melted.
    • Stir pecans into caramel and stir until combined; add a couple of pinches of sea salt.
    • Spread on top of fudge layer. Place in fridge until cooled enough for chocolate layer.

    Salted Chocolate Layer

    • Microwave chocolate chips on high for 30 seconds or until melted. Spread over caramel layer with back of spoon.
    • Add a couple of pinches of sea salt. (I sprinkled then mixed it into the chocolate with the back of spoon.
    • Chill until firm. Cut into small squares.

    Ingredients
      

    Fudge Layer

    • ½ cup butter
    • ⅓ cup unsweetened baking cocoa
    • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
    • ¼ cup milk
    • 3-½ cups confectioners' sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Salted Pecan Caramel Layer

    • 30 caramels unwrapped
    • 1 tablespoon water
    • 1-2 cups pecans depending on your nut preference, coarsely chopped
    • sea salt

    Salted Chocolate Layer

    • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
    • ½ cup milk chocolate chips
    • sea salt

    Instructions
     

    • Spray an 8" baking pan with non-stick spray and set aside.

    Notes

    You can also do this fudge layer on the stove, stirring frequently as another option.

      When the salted caramel thing was first,like,everywhere,I did NOT get it. But, I have always enjoyed pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate, then in seasonal sprinkles. Who doesn't? right? That is a s and s for sure!Now,have that idea+fudge?oh yeah, print, pin, make, mine, now! Thanks for another yummie!
