5 Ingredients You Need
- cream cheese - make sure your cream cheese is softened or room temperature to avoid cream cheese lumps in your dip.
- powdered sugar - cream cheese and powdered sugar are the perfect base for this party dip!
- canned pumpkin puree - use canned pumpkin puree here, because it makes things super easy.
- pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon - by adding pumpkin spice and/or cinnamon, you get a delicious pumpkin spice flavor, like you find in pumpkin pie!
- whipped topping, like Cool Whip or Dream Whip
- whipped topping really lightens this party dip up!
How to Make Fluffy Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip
- Using a mixer
, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar on medium until light and fluffy. Stir in pumpkin puree and spices.
- Gently fold in whipped topping.
- Refrigerate in bowl covered with plastic wrap or airtight container for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with your favorite dessert dippers on the side (chocolate or honey graham crackers, Biscoff cookies, Nilla wafers, jumbo marshmallows, sliced apples, sliced pears, pretzels, and more).

- Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- The pumpkin pie dip is fine to leave out for a few hours at a party or when serving to guests.

- Make sure your cream cheese is softened. Quickest method: Put the block of cream cheese on a microwave-safe dish and microwave on high in 10-second increments. Check for desired softness constantly because it's very easy to accidentally melt your cream cheese.
- Use a mixer to get the best results for creamy, light and fluffy pumpkin dip!
- For the whipped cream, you can make your own easily, using a mixer. Just whip up 1 cup of whipping cream or coconut whipped cream until you get whipped cream, if you want real homemade whipped cream. Cool Whip is already prepared and is a great shortcut to no fuss and the easiest method for this dip. Dream Whip is great if you want to make whipped cream with almond milk or milk, using directions on side of box.
- For a lower-fat version of this recipe, substitute light cream cheese for cream cheese.
- Cover and chill the dip for at least 30 minutes for best results.
- Dip can be prepared up to 3 days in advance. Just store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve up to 5 days.
- Dippers! Add your dippers to your serving platter or board just before you are ready to serve your dip, so cookies/crackers do not go stale and apples/pears don't go brown. I find it's better to cut up about 2-3 apples/pears to platter, then continue adding them and other dippers as they disappear!
