It doesn't take long for these JUMBO 'Soft Batch' M&M  Cookies to disappear.  Enjoy these soft, thick and buttery m&m cookies with a large glass of milk or make ice cream sandwiches!  That is what I planned to do with 2 cookies I had hidden away.  Umm...Obviously I did not hide them well enough.
    stack of jumbo m&m cookies
    The story goes like this...
    • I say: "Who wants JUMBO?"
    • They say: "Depends...Uhhh...JUMBO what?"

I shout: " JUMBO 'Soft Batch' M&M  Cookies!"

Holy Texas!  I never saw people move so fast!!   It was like the "maddest, clumsiest, arms flailing about" 50 yard dash into the kitchen, crossing the finish line at in new record time.  The finish line being, the plate of JUMBO 'Soft Batch' M&M  Cookies.

    JUMBO 'Soft Batch' M&M Cookies

I mean, who in tarnation can resist freaking jumbo-sized M&M Cookies?

These cookies have 2 secret ingredients too! Instant pudding and butter extract.  So you get, soft, thick, fluffy and buttery cookies loaded with M&Ms and chocolate chips. Not a bad combination, right?

And look, the picture below, there's a bite out of that cookie in the middle!  I wonder who could have done that?

So, I did not get a picture of my ice cream sandwich idea to share, thanks to my loving and wonderful hubby. (He tried to deny it, but I know who eats the hidden cookies.  There is only 2 of us here, so....yea.

    fluffy m&m cookies

    Ingredients You Need

    • unsalted butter
    • brown sugar - makes them chewy
    • granulated sugar
    • eggs
    • instant vanilla pudding - makes them soft and fluffy m&m cookies
    • all-purpose flour
    • baking soda
    • butter extract or vanilla extract
    • mini M&M’s
    • M&M's
    • semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make M&M Cookie Recipe

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, line pans with parchment paper or silpat mats
    2. In a medium bowl, whisk flour and baking soda and set aside.
    3. In a separate bowl, using a mixer, beat together butter, sugars and instant pudding mix until thoroughly combined.
    4. Add in eggs and butter extract and mix until incorporated.
    5. Slowly add in dry ingredients until fully combined.
    6. Gently fold in 1 cups of mini M&M’s, ½ cup M&M's and chocolate chips.
    7. Pour the remaining cup of mini M&M's into a bowl and set aside.
    8. Using a large cookie or ice cream scooper, scoop the dough and release dough into your hand and roll only tops of cookies in mini M&M's. The mini M&M's should be close together, they will spread out while baking. (If you don't have a scoop, roll balls in hands about 1.5" across.)
    9. Bake 6 cookies to a cookies sheet at 350 for 12-14 minutes.
    10. Don't overbake!
    11. Let cookies cool on baking sheet a few minutes before moving to a wire rack.

These were perfect for what I was looking for. Had the new caramel m&ms want to use them in a cookie. Substitute them for the regular m&ms. Turned out pretty and great. (Cake flour can be substituted for the flour add 2 tbsp per cup)

Hi I live in Mexico city, thanks for the recipe, I just have a doubt, the instant pudding that use is the powder (the box like jell-o ) or the pudding that sell in the supermarket ready to eat. Thanks
