Ingredients You Need for Chocolate Cake Donuts
Fluffy Chocolate Donuts
- all-purpose flour
- granulated sugar
- cocoa powder
- baking soda
- Greek yogurt
- egg
- almond milk
- vegetable oil
- vanilla extract
Vanilla Glaze
- powdered sugar
- whole milk or cream
- vanilla extract
How to Make the Glazed Fluffy Chocolate Donuts!

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare donut pan
by greasing or spraying with non-stick spray
and set aside.
Glazed Chocolate Donut Recipe

Whisk
the the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda together in a medium bowl and set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, egg, almond milk, oil and vanilla extract.

Add the wet ingredients into the dry until just combined using a wooden spoon.

Pipe with a pastry bag
or cut a ½ inch hole into a corner of a baggie and pipe into donut pan.

Bake for 8 minutes or until the tops spring back when you touch them.

Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then tap the doughnuts out onto wire rack.
- Place baking paper under wire racks
to catch the excess glaze when glazing donuts.
Simple Vanilla Glaze

In a microwaveable dish, combine the sugar, milk, and vanilla and whisk until well combined.

Microwave for 20-40 seconds and stir. The lumps should be melted.

Dunk the donuts in the glaze to fully coat and place on a wire rack to set.

Once you reach the end, re-dip for a second time if desired.
If you don't have a donut pan, (which you should purchase one just so you can make more donuts of course!) you can always use a mini muffin pan
to make these! Either way, who can resist chocolate donuts!

You can use whatever kind you want. I like to use vanilla Greek yogurt, but plain is ok as well.

Made these today using a square donut pan. The came out perfect and are delicious! However this time instead of the glaze I used sour cherries, made a drizzle from the juice, and then sprinkled some powdered sugar. So made them more like individual cakes.
