FAQs
Can I use different frosting?
- Absolutely! If you want a lighter topping, try making Oreo cookies with Oreo frosting using a simple buttercream or even whipped cream (just frost right before serving).
Can I stuff the oreo cookies with oreos?
- Yes! For an over-the-top Oreo cookie recipe, press a mini Oreo into the center of each dough ball before baking.
What’s the best way to crush Oreos?
- I just toss them in a zip-top bag and smash with a rolling pin. You want chunky bits for texture, not fine crumbs.

These Oreo cookies with frosting are one of my all-time favorite treats! They’re soft, sweet, and packed with crunchy cookie pieces. If you try this Oreo cookie recipe, let me know in the comments how they turned out or tag me if you share pics!
