Not to mention, banoffee pie has quite a noteworthy history. Originating in England in the 1970s, it quickly gained popularity and has since become a beloved dessert all around the world.

We transformed banoffee pie into a delicious peanut butter cheesecake with lots of peanut butter caramel and bananas, which we are deeming a winner when it comes to decadence and yumminess!  I mean, seriously…who can resist the play on “banoffee” – banana and toffee!

Ingredients You Need

No Bake Peanut Butter Banoffee Cheesecake Recipe

Graham Cracker Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar or brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 9 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

No Bake Peanut Butter Cheesecake

  • 24 ounces (3 packages) full-fat cream cheese, softened/room temperature – can also use reduced cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 ¼ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Caramel Sauce & Bananas

  • Store bought jar of salted caramel sauce or make it homemade
  • peanut butter
  • Sea salt – optional
  • optional: whipped cream swirls
  • Sliced Bananas

Instructions How to Make No Bake Peanut Butter Banoffee Cheesecake

Graham Cracker Crust

  1. In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs,sugar, salt, and melted butter and mix together. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides about an inch of an 8-inch springform cake tin. Place in refrigerator while you make the cheesecake mixture.

No Bake peanut butter Cheesecake

  1. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the cream cheese and powdered sugar.  Beat until smooth and then mix in peanut butter, sour cream/Greek yogurt and vanilla extract until combined.
  2. Add in the heavy cream and continue to beat for a minute or two at medium speed.  Transfer the cheesecake filling to the prepared pan, and smooth into an even layer.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

Caramel Sauce & Bananas

Once the cheesecake has chilled, add sliced bananas on top. Then add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter to your caramel sauce and whisk together then drizzle or spoon on top of cheesecake. If you also wish, add some whipped cream swirls, more banana slices, sea salt and mini chocolate chips.  Serve and enjoy the decadence! 

To make whipped cream swirls: Add 1 cup of heavy whipping cream, 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla together in a bowl and whip with electric mixer until you get whipped cream for 3-5 minutes.  Place mixture in a piping bag with a large star tip and pipe some swirls!

Storing Banoffee Pie Cheesecake

  • Store this cheesecake in a closed container in the fridge. Eat it within 2 days for the best flavor when you are adding fresh sliced bananas, because the bananas will get mushy and turn brown-colored.  Otherwise you can add the ripe bananas when you serve it as another option!
