- 8 oz frozen whipped topping thawed, like Cool Whip
- 3 oz package instant orange jello mix just the powder
- 2 cups cottage cheese small or large curd will work
- 15 oz can mandarin oranges drained
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese and dry jello powder together.
Fold in whipped topping and marshmallows.
Add oranges and gently fold them into the mixture using a rubber spatula to keep the cool whip from going flat.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
Leave in large bowl to serve or serve as 6-8 individual servings. When serving you can top with additional whipped cream if desired with marshmallows and mandarin oranges.

- If you like pineapple in your orange fluff salad, you can add 1 - 8 oz can of crushed pineapple to your salad. Make sure to drain the juice well and also reduce the cottage cheese to one cup instead of two cups.
- Add 1/2 cup of sweetened shredded coconut or some chopped walnuts or pecans for some more texture.
- Like cream cheese and no cottage cheese? Omit the cottage cheese and add 8 ounces of softened cream cheese to your salad before you add in the whipped cream for a creamsicle flavor!
