Candy Corn Oreos

Candy Corn Oreos are just Oreos dipped in white chocolate with a candy corn or two on top!  Add any other embellishments you want to, like sprinkles or salted nuts for some variety.

  • 3 cups chocolate or melts of choice
  • 30 Oreo Cookies

Instructions

How to make Oreo Treats!

  • 1 cup of chocolate chips or melts will coat approximately 10-12 cookies, as a reference for how much chocolate you will need.
  • Place parchment paper or wax paper on baking sheet.
  • In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips or candy melts in 30 second increments, stirring between each heating. Heat until chocolate is smooth and there are no lumps.
  • Dip one cookie at a time into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Lift out cookie with a fork and shake gently side-to-side to remove excess chocolate. Lay cookie on parchment paper or wax paper.
  • Then repeat until all cookies have been dipped and decorated.
  • Add candy corn on top. Add nuts, sprinkles, drizzles or leave as is!

Notes

If using almond bark or something similar, use instructions on package. For smoother chocolate, use 1 teaspoon canola or coconut oil if desired. If oil is cold, it could seize the chocolate. Tips: If the chocolate starts to harden, place the bowl back in the microwave and heat for 10-15 seconds and stir again.
