Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars

Homemade Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars are the ultimate treat for the holidays! We jazzed up these blondies with dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.  We topped it with a creamy white chocolate cream cheese frosting flecked with orange zest, more white chocolate and a sprinkle of more dried cranberries!

Ingredients

Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup salted butter
  • 1 ½ cups light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

White Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips melted and divided in half for frosting and topping
  • 1 Tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Frosting and Toppings

  • Remaining melted White chocolate
  • dried cranberries
  • Optional: pistachios rough chop

Instructions

Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with foil or parchment paper, for easy removal. Spray with nonstick spray. Set aside.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a medium bowl and set aside.
  • In a large bowl whisk together the butter and sugar and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Using a mixer, beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  • Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix together until just combined, with no flour streaks.
  • Stir in the cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  • Spread the thick blondie batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean taking care to not over-bake.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack, about 2 hours.

White Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

  • Using a mixer, beat the cream cheese, 1/2 of the melted white chocolate, orange zest, and powdered sugar until blended.

Frosting and Toppings

  • Frost blondies and sprinkle with cranberries. Drizzle with remaining melted white chocolate on top and let set.  For a jolly touch, toss some pistachio nuts for the green, red and white Christmas colors!  So pretty and tasty too!

Notes

How to Store Cranberry Bliss Bars
  • Remove blondies from pan and cut bars as desired. Store in the fridge, tightly sealed until ready to serve, for up to 5 days.
  • You can freeze bars up to six weeks in an airtight container.
This recipe is 12 large bars, but you can cut them smaller into squares and triangles.
