Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter straight from fridge or room temperature, do not use softened or warm butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 10 oz. bag HERSHEY’S Kitchens Sea Salt Caramel Chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • Optional: 1 1/2 cups soft caramel bits like Kraft or Nuts.com

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment or silpat and set aside.
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl cream together cream butter, and sugars, then add eggs and vanilla and beat until fluffy.
  • Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and mix until combined.
  • Add the salted chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and (optional) caramel bits and mix well.  No need to chill the dough unless your dough is warm.
  • Using a cookie scoop of choice (we used 1/4 cup) scoop out the dough and drop on a parchment or silpat lined cookie sheet, leaving 2 inches space between cookies.
  • Remove from oven and let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes.  Then transfer to a cooling rack to cool.

Notes

Using a cookie scoop of choice

  • For small cookies, use 1 tablespoon cookie dough, bake for 7-8 minutes.
  • 2 tablespoons cookie dough, bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • 1/4 cup cookie dough, bake for 14 - 16 minutes.
