Rich 'n Gooey Buckeye Bars

Heavenly, rich, creamy peanut butter and chocolate gooey deliciousness in a fudge brownie. Trouble. Trouble. Trouble :)

Ingredients

Buckeye Brownies

  • 1 boxed Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Fudge Brownie mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • cup cooking oil or coconut oil
  • 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup peanut butter chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8x8 baking pan with non-stick spray; set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, and oil and use electric mixer on medium speed until combined and mixed well.
  • Spread 1/2 of the brownie mixture evenly into baking pan.
  • Pour and spread peanut butter mixture on top of brownie mixture in pan.
  • Using a teaspoon or small scoop. drop remaining brownie mixture on top of the peanut butter layer. You can swirl it a little if you want to. Add peanut butter chips to the top.
  • Bake for 39-43 minutes or until top is set and edges are lightly browned.
  • Place brownies on baking rack.
  • After brownies have cooled, cut into bars. Makes16 bars.
