Slutty Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Brownies

These Slutty Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Brownies are made with a scratch peanut butter cookie dough, some Nutter Butters and Oreos for the middle layer and then our scratch brownies on top!

Ingredients

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

  • ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips or chocolate chips of choice

Middle Cookie Layer

  • Oreos or Nutter Butters 16 cookies or so, give or take

Brownie Layer

  • 10 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 ¼ cups white sugar
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup flour

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line the bottom of a 9x9 baking pan with tin foil or parchment paper and then spray the tin foil/parchment paper with a layer of baking spray.
  • Layer the peanut butter cookie dough on the bottom of a 9x9 baking pan, pressing down to form the bottom layer of the bars.
  • Layer as many oreos/nutter butters that will fit on top of the cookie dough by not overlapping the cookies.
  • Pour the brownie batter on top of the oreo layer and spread out the brownie batter evenly.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes.

Notes

Double recipe for 9x13 pan!
