Scrumptious Peanut Butter Loaded Bars

Seriously, you won’t want to miss out on these Scrumptious Peanut Butter Loaded Bars!  They are so soft, extra thick and definitely loaded with peanut butter flavor, delectable white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and Reese’s Baking Peanut Butter Cups and Reese’s Pieces Candy.  A real peanut butter lover’s dream.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour measure the flour correctly" in this post if you need instruction)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup peanut butter chips
  • 8.5 oz Reese's Baking Cups and Candy Pieces if you can't find, use mini Reese's PB Cups and Reese's Pieces Candy instead

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper lightly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Using a mixer, mix the butter, sugars, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla together until combined.
  • Add in the flour, soda, and salt in and mix until just combined. Make sure you measure flour correctly, or cookies will be dry & crumbly. (Fluff flour, spoon flour into cup and level off with a knife.)
  • Fold in most of the chocolate chips & & Reese's PB Cups and Candy Pieces. (Reserve some for the tops.)
  • Transfer dough to pan. Add some additional chocolate chips & Reese's PB Cups and Candy Pieces on top if you wish.
  • Bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until top is set. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean, or with a few moist crumbs, but no batter.
  • Allow bars to cool in pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
  • Bars will keep airtight at room temperature for up to 1 week, or in the freezer for up to 6 months.

Notes

Make sure you don't over-measure your flour. You should fluff your flour, then spoon your flour into your measuring cup and then level it off with a knife.
