This super-easy Applesauce Bread recipe is deliciously tasty, moist and full of apple and cinnamon fall flavor! It’s the perfect quick bread when you want simple, comforting applesauce bread.
¾cupgranulated sugaruse monkfruit for sugar-free option
¼cupbrown sugarpacked, use monkfruit for sugar-free option
2large eggs
1cupunsweetened applesauceor sweetened applesauce can be used
¼cupGreek yogurt
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1 ¾cupall-purpose flourfor healthy option, substitute flour with 3/4 cup whole wheat flour & 1 cup all-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
½teaspoonbaking powder
1tablespoonground cinnamonadd 1 extra teaspoon for more cinnamon flavor!
1teaspoonground nutmeg
¼teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line the bottom of a 9X5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper. Lightly spray the insides of the pan with non-cooking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk the oil, granulated sugar and brown sugar together
Next, add the eggs, whisking until well combined.
Add the applesauce, vanilla, and Greek yogurt and whisk together until smooth.
Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and stir together just until combined, without overmixing batter.
Pour the batter into prepared loaf pan and spread into an even layer.
Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean or with just moist crumbs.
Remove from oven. Run a knife gently around the side of the pan and then remove bread onto a cooling rack.
