Sprinkle Sugar Cookies (Easy & No Chill)

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-2 cups sprinkles or jimmies do not use nonpareils
Preheat the oven to 350° F. Line 1-2 large cookie sheets with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper, set aside
In a separate bowl, whisk together the remaining dry ingredients, set aside.
Using a mixer, cream the butter and sugar together for 1-3 minutes.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
Add the dry ingredients to cookie batter and beat on medium-low speed just until the flour is almost combined.
Add the sprinkles and increase the speed on the mixer and beat until the dough comes together.
Use a large cookie scoop to portion the dough. Place on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 350° F for 12 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before you transfer to a wire rack.
