Mimi's Honey Vanilla Banana Bread
This banana bread is perfectly balanced with lots of banana flavor, hints of local, light honey nectar from Byler's Bee Farm and smooth, rich Madagascar Vanilla. 'Indulge yourself!'
large ripe bananas
olive oil or melted butter
pure vanilla extract or
of all-purpose flour
Pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray with non-stick spray a 9x5 loaf pan.
Mix together the melted butter or olive oil, bananas, honey, sugars, eggs and vanilla together.
In another bowl, add the baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour together and whisk and then add to the wet mixture and mix until just incorporated.
Pour mixture into a loaf pan and bake for 1 hour.
Let cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and cool on a wire rack until completely cool.
Pair with honey & butter on top! Yum!
