Candy Corn Jello Shots!

Halloween and candy corn go together like vampires and blood. What better way is there to celebrate than with one of the best Halloween jello shot recipes that screams Halloween!

Ingredients

Orange Layer

  • 3 oz . Orange Jello
  • 8 oz . boiling water
  • 8 oz . Smirnoff Whipped Cream flavored Vodka

Yellow Layer

  • 3 oz . Pineapple Jello
  • 8 oz . boiling water
  • 8 oz . Smirnoff Whipped Cream flavored Vodka

White Layer

  • ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 packets Knox Gelatin
  • 1 cup Smirnoff Whipped Cream flavored Vodka

Instructions

Start with Orange Layer

  • In a medium bowl, pour the boiling water into the orange jello and whisk, until jello granules are melted.
  • Add in the whipped cream vodka and mix well.
  • Pour into non-stick sprayed shot glasses or containers one-third (1/3) of the way.
  • Place in the refrigerator to cool and gel for 30-45 minutes.

Yellow Layer

  • In a medium bowl, pour the boiling water into the pineapple jello and whisk, until jello granules are melted.
  • Add in the whipped cream vodka and mix well.
  • Take out orange Jello shots from the fridge and pour pineapple Jello mixture another one-third (1/3) of the way up to make each shot two-thirds (2/3) full.
  • Place in the refrigerator to cool and gel for another 30-45 minutes.

White Layer

  • Sprinkle the gelatin over the coconut milk, water and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan and let sit for a few minutes.
  • Heat over low heat, stirring, until the Jello starts to dissolve.
  • Cool till just warm, then mix and stir in the whipped cream vodka.
  • Take out orange/pineapple Jello shots from the fridge and pour white jello mixture another one-third (1/3) of the way up to make each shot full.
  • Place in the refrigerator to cool and gel for another 30-45 minutes.
  • Garnish with candy corn or whipped cream or both!

Notes

Important: Do not add more alcohol than recommended above. Alcohol has a different (lower) freezing point than water. If you add too much alcohol, the jello will not set up and gel.
With some combinations, you my need to use a little less alcohol. Liquor with a higher alcohol content, sets up at a lower temperature.
