If you want to add in additional flavors like peanut butter, nutella, or chocolate. I’d recommend adding the ingredients in before blending. Chocolate chips, candies, granola or fruit bits should be added after the bananas are blended.
Once blended, serve it right away for a soft-serve ice cream. You can firm it back up in the freezer for a few minutes. Overnight in the freezer, it will turn into hard ice cream. If this happens, just set at room temperature until it starts to soften and enjoy!
