Heavenly Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

Start with yummy layer of a sweet and salty pretzel crust, then a layer of cream cheese fluff middle, and then the jello strawberry layer on top and you have heaven or as I call it Heavenly Strawberry Pretzel Dessert.

Ingredients

Pretzel Crust

  • 1 1 ⁄2 cup pretzels crushed
  • 4 1 ⁄2 tbsp white sugar or organic sugar
  • 3 ⁄4 cup butter melted

Cheesecake Fluff

  • 1 cup white sugar or organic sugar
  • 2 package light or regular cream cheese 8 ounces each
  • 1 container frozen whipped topping 8 ounce, thawed or 2 cups whipping cream, whipped

Strawberry Jell-o Topping

  • 1 package strawberry gelatin 6 ounce
  • 2 cup boiling water
  • 1 package 16 ounce frozen strawberries sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Pretzel Crust

  • Mix together the crushed pretzels, 4 1/2 tablespoons sugar and melted butter.
  • Press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly toasted.
  • Set aside to cool completely.

Cheesecake Fluff

  • In a medium bowl, beat the sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
  • Fold in whipped topping.
  • Spread evenly over the cooled crust.
  • Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.

Strawberry Jell-o Topping

  • In a medium bowl, stir together the gelatin mix and boiling water.
  • Mix in frozen strawberries, and stir until thawed.
  • Pour over cream cheese mixture in pan.
  • Refrigerate until completely chilled, at least 1 hour.
  • Cut into bars and serve.
