These easy Healthy No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars are so easy to make and they are definitely super yummy and 4 ingredients is all that is required!
This amazing snack recipe is perfect for breakfast on the go or for an afternoon or a post-workout snack and it only takes less than 10 minutes to prepare.
Once prepared, place in freezer for 45 minutes and then slice them up and you’ve got some well deserved sweet treats coming your way that is ultimately, satisfying for that sweet tooth of yours!
The recipe requires only 4 ingredients! Chocolate chips, peanut butter
, oats and your choice of a healthy sugar. We used agave syrup, but you could use maple syrup or honey if you wish. It needs to be a sticky sugar to bind everything together perfectly.
Other ways to make them even healthier?
You can make these healthier by making them vegan easily by just using dairy-free chips + agave syrup
or maple syrup
. They will contain wholesome ingredients with no refined sugar or artificial ingredients.
You can make them gluten-free by just using gluten-free oats.
For variation, add some chopped nuts of choice on top of these bars for some extra protein. Add some flax seed, seeds or shredded coconut to take them up a notch if you want some more texture. Add some sea salt for the sweet and salty lovers!

Healthy No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars
Ingredients
Peanut Butter Oat Mixture
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup agave syrup or pure maple syrup honey can be used, but it won't be vegan
- 1 & 1/3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats can use gluten free (can also use quick oats)
Chocolate Peanut Butter Topping
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips use dairy-free chocolate chips if you want a vegan
- 1/3 cup natural creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or wax paper. Set aside.
Peanut Butter Oat Mixture
- In a medium, microwave-safe bowl add peanut butter and maple syrup and heat in microwave 20 seconds and whisk together. Heat another 20 seconds if peanut butter mixture has not heated through and melted.
- Add oats. Stir and fold until thoroughly combined. Scoop oat mixture into the prepared baking pan.
- Using a rubber spatula, smooth into an even, tightly-packed layer. Set aside.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Topping
- Microwave chocolate and peanut butter together until melted in 30 second increments until melted. Stir and pour chocolate over bars, spreading out evenly over bars with rubber spatula or back of spoon.
- Freeze for 45 minutes, or until firm. Remove from freezer and slice into bars.
