God, somebody stop me. Oops…too late. Eye contact with this Oreo Double Stuf Trifle!  It’s that frozen stare thing you do, Medusa-like, with your mouth wide open, drooling at the same time.  I refer to this dessert as a ‘Chocolate Monster‘, can you blame me?

In Greek mythology, if Medusa was this dessert, I would already be turned to stone.  Yikes!   It’s absolutely stunning and decadent!  It’s no wonder, it’s hard to look away, it’s so delectable, creamy, fluffy and cookie filled!

Ingredients You Need for Brownie Oreo Trifle Dessert

  • 1 9×9 inch pan of brownies baked and cut into 1″ squares Use your favorite boxed brownie mix ahead of time and let them cool
  • 1 3.9 oz. package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • ½ cup water or milk of choice
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups Whipping Cream (see note below for to sweeten whipped cream) whipped or 3 – 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package Double Stuf Oreos broken into quarters

How to Make Double Stuf Oreo Brownie Trifle (Video included in recipe card!) 

  1. In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, water and sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth.
  2. Fold in 8 ounces or 2 cups whipped topping until no streaks remain.
  3. In a trifle bowl or glass serving dish, start layering with ⅓ of the brownies, half of the pudding mixture, 8 broken Oreos and ⅓ of remaining whipped topping.
  4. Repeat another layer with the same ingredients.
  5. Fill the center with rest of brownie bites and 8-12 more broken Oreos.
  6. With the last ⅓ of whipped cream, pipe or spoon around edges of bowl.
  7. Refrigerate 8 hours before serving.

Notes

For sweetened whipped cream, whip in 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and whip until combined. You can also add in a tablespoon of vanilla extract.
