BTW…because this is no bake, there are no eggs and when all purpose flour used, you can heat-treat it easily in the microwave to make it safe to eat.

Plus, adding the microwaved flour into the mixer while it’s still warm along with the partially melted butter helps the sugar to melt down a little creating a soft, creamy blend that has that perfect cookie dough texture.

Cookie dough is always a favorite!  It’s even better when it’s raw sometimes, ya know? We all have eaten it and it’s one of the most comforting delights we cannot turn away!  So, let’s make some sweet treats!

Vegan Options

Since there are no eggs in these cookie dough recipes, it’s also very easy to make it vegan. Simply use vegan butter or coconut oil in place of the butter and trade out the milk for any plant based milk that you prefer.  I personally love using almond milk. You could also use coconut milk, rice milk, cashew milk or oat milk as well.

Also use dark chocolate or other sugar-free/dairy free chocolate chips, sprinkles, etc as desired.

How to Easily Heat-Treat Your All-Purpose Flour

You can eliminate any bacteria risks, by toasting your flour at 350 degrees F for just 5 minutes to kill off any harmful bacteria or you can use the microwave and spread the flour out on a microwavable plate and microwave it for 90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds to keep it from clumping up.

For gluten free recipes for the 1st 3 recipes, you can substitute coconut flour by reducing flour measurement by half and then add more if needed by tablespoon.

Speaking of healthy…here’s something on the healthier side…

Here’s a super healthy recipe I think you’ll enjoy for those either looking for a low carb, sugar free and gluten-free edible cookie dough because we have to feed that sweet tooth fast when that craving hits or at least trick it!
