Ingredients

Sheet Pan Peanut Butter Chocolate Blondie Dream Bars

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 3 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ⅔ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 bag peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Peanut Butter Chocolate Glaze for Drizzling

  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup peanut butter chips or 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • ½ teaspoon canola or coconut oil if needed for thinning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13x18 sheet pan with parchment paper, spraying the parchment with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Place a large saucepan over medium heat and add butter and peanut butter and stir until all melted.
  • Remove pan from heat and whisk in the sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs and continue stirring until incorporated well.
  • Add in flour, salt and baking powder and mix until combined.
  • Fold in the peanut butter and semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips.
  • Spread the mixture into the prepared pan and spread batter evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake for 30 minutes and let cool at least 30 minutes before cutting to drizzle.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Glaze for Drizzling

  • Melt 1/2 cup chocolate milk chips, 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 teaspoon canola or coconut oil and 1/2 cup peanut butter chips or 1/2 cup peanut butter in microwave.
  • Pour into a ziplock or pastry bag and drizzle on top of blondies.
  • Let glaze set. For quick setting put in fridge or freezer for 5 minutes or so.

Notes

  • If you want to press some chips in the blondies, reserve some before adding into the blondie bar batter and once you've spread the batter in the pan, add them to the top as you like.
  • Makes 24 large bars. You can make them smaller for party trays or gifting.
