Devilish-ous Chocolate Mini Donut Muffins {with Nutella Ganache}

Ingredients

Cake Batter Donuts

  • 1 Boxed Devils Food Chocolate Cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 1 cup milk or chocolate almond milk

Nutella Ganache

  • ½ cup Nutella
  • cup heavy cream or milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease mini muffin tins.
  • In a bowl combine cake mix, eggs, butter, and milk. Beat for about 2 minutes or until smooth. Batter will be thick.
  • Scoop batter into muffin cups, filling each cup about 3/4 full. (I used a small ice cream scooper, just right!)
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until done.
  • Let cool in pan for 5 minutes, then remove donut muffins from pan and place on wire rack to cool.

Nutella Ganache

  • Combine Nutella and cream or milk and whisk until smooth. If the ganache is too thick, add more cream or milk as needed.
  • When the donuts are done, cool for 10 minutes and dip the top into the glaze. Sprinkle with hazelnuts, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips or whatever your little heart desires.
  • Allow ganache to set before serving.
