Can you believe, in three (3) days, it will be Thanksgiving?! I’m really, really looking forward to a four (4) day holiday from my day job! A mini Florida vacation would be even better, but I’ll take this!
Don’t get me wrong, I love, love, love my day job, but more and more constantly, I think…sheesh, wouldn’t it be super cool to be retired?!
But that’s not going to happen anytime soon, so, while I’m ‘wishin’ and wantin’, I’ll just eat a ton of these Dark Chocolate Almond & Cherry Clusters with Sea Salt. 😛 Chocolate always makes me feel better, no matter what.
Chocolate doesn’t ask silly questions, Chocolate understands.
I can’t go without! (I’m undeniably addicted…obviously.)
What I really love about this recipe is, there are only 4 ingredients! The sea salt on top of the deep and velvety dark chocolate delivers such a sophisticated taste with the salted roasted almonds and dried plump cherries.
Double dip if you dare! Change it up, if you desire milk chocolate or white chocolate. All I know is...
It’s hard to stop. eating. them.
I’ll share my recipe.because.I.know.you.love.chocolate.too! 🙂
- 2 cups Dark Chocolate Chips. Wilton's Dark Chocolate wafers or Candiquick I've used Ghiradelli dark chocolate wafers and Wilton's,
- 1 1/2 cup roasted salted or unsalted almonds whole or chopped I did whole
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup dried cherries
- Sea Salt for sprinkling
Melt chocolate chips in microwave for 1 minute, stir, add extra 15 seconds each interval until melted, stirring in between each interval.
Stir in almonds and dried cherries.
Spoon into clusters on parchment paper.
Sprinkle each cluster with a little more sea salt.
Let chocolate set.
